Who Are We?

The Friends of the Northville Public Library is an organization of volunteers who promote and support our local library at 341 South Third Street in Northville, NY. Funds raised from our five yearly fundraising projects are used to provide supplies and services for the library, purchase books and equipment, and support special speakers and programs. The Friends contributed more than $25,000 during the last Library expansion and renovation program. The new circulation desk is one of their more visible contributions.

The Advisory Board of the Friends meets regularly to plan programs and activities, make policy decisions and transact such business as is required or directed by the organization's By-Laws. Our Annual Meeting of the Friends is usually held at the end of May and is open to the public.

For more information about the Friends, please call the library at 863-6922 and leave a message with one of the staff members and we will contact you. To become a 'Friend', follow the link "How to Join".
